Teleappending

Populating your data with telephone numbers from BT's OSIS database

We are able to add telephone numbers to your data, using the latest directory information from the OSIS database, via our teleappending service.

We are licensed to use the BT OSIS database. BT OSIS is the only official, comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date source of telephone number information in the UK.

It is managed by BT and contains numbers from all of the UK's main telecoms providers. We receive updates six times a week from BT.

This will ensure that you get the most up to date numbers possible.

Telephone Preference Service Cleaning

Removing those telephone numbers where the subscriber has registered their objection to receiving marketing calls

The Telephone Preference Service (TPS) enables individuals to register their objection to receiving direct marketing calls.

From 1 May 1999 the new regulations made it unlawful to make a direct marketing call to an individual who has objected, either directly to the company or to TPS.

Under the regulations, companies must comply with an individual's request for suppression made to the central register within 28 days of the request.

We receive daily updates from TPS so our register is always up to date.

Address correction and cleaning

Maintaining the accuracy of your database

Poorly or incorrectly addressed mailing data results in undelivered or returned mail. This will reduce your response rate, waste your campaign budget and is detrimental to your image.

We use QuickAddress to enhance the quality of the addresses in your database.

We aim to ensure at least a correct post code and post town and to improve the overall quality of the addresses in your database.

De-Duplication

Removing duplicate records from your data

To avoid mailing or telephoning the same target more than once, we can remove duplicates which inevitably creep in to any database
